Help!

Three little puppies looking for food in a gas station in Romania (city of Rm. Valcea). Shot taken back in '05

Today's joke:

A little Indian boy asked his father, the big chief and doctor of the tribe, "Papa, why is it that we always have long names, while the white men have shorter names - Bill, Tex or Sam, for example?" His father replied, "Look, son, our names represent a symbol, a sign, or a poem for our culture not like the white men, who live all together and repeat their names from generation to generation. Also, it is part of our makeup that in spite of everything, we survive. For example, your sister's name is Small Romantic Moon Over The Lake, because on the night she was born, there was a beautiful moon reflected in the lake. Then there's your brother, Big White Horse of the Prairies, because he was born on a day that the big white horse who gallops over the prairies of the world appeared near our camp and is a symbol of our capacity to live and the life force of our people . It's very simple and easy to understand. Do you have any other questions, Little Broken Condom Made in China?

  2. Unfortunately there too many stray dogs, and they're a permanent danger for walkers... you never know which one is a friendly dog or a wild beast. And I don't blame the govmt, but those humane associations that fight against so-called anti-cruelty, but actually they don't do nothing for these stray dogs... thanks for the comment, Diana!

  16. Unfortunately I've seen worse, replace the puppies with neglected and orphaned children and you have the Sudan and many other African Countries. It's a shame on Humanity that the most helpless, Man and Animal alike, suffer the most in our so called Civilized society.

  18. LMAO...great joke!
Yes, it's one thing to let them live, but that carries an additional responsibility with it, if they aren't cared for and adopted, they become more of a problem when grown.

  22. Oh! That is too funny, the joke, that is! It is sad about the puppies too! By treating them that way, I think it is more inhumane. Who feeds them and what mischief don't they get into after grown! What a mess. Great photo too!!

  36. Oh how sad! They are so cute, I would take them all in! The one lying in the street reminds me of a humane society commercial they are running here right now. If people would be more responsible with their animals this sort of thing wouldn't be as prevalent. Sorry to see it happens other places as well:-( Beautiful capture of the little darlings!
