Between the Lines

Hmm, I don't know which one to say it's the original shot, 'cause there are two halves! Well, I'd start with the sea, the shot was taken in the bay of Shore Acres, TX while the clouds are "Made In Indiana" (uff, finally something not made in China!!!). Yes, the boat was right there, just had to remove other three boats... parol d'honeur, I didn't sink 'em!

Today's joke is from Georgia, where actually I am right now:

A young man from Georgia came running in the restaurant and said to his buddy:
"Bubba, somebody just stole your pickup truck from the parking lot!"
Bubba replied:
"Did you see who it was?"
The young man answered:
"I couldn't tell, but I got the license number..."

Fisherman's Daughter (2)

Howdy from the frozen El Paso, Texas! Eh, not quite freezing, but it's coooold!
For today I got this mixture of three images, whic actually it's a redo of an older post... the girl which actually was sitting on a trampoline in the backyard and sticking her head through a hole in the net, while the background is from the Black Sea (Romania, as well as the boat, but from a different location...

Today's joke (thank you, Nedu!):

Any references to “blondes” is purely coincidental!

Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with that expensive double-pane energy efficient kind, and today, I got a call from the contractor who installed them... He was complaining that the work had been completed a whole year ago and I still hadn't paid for them.
Hellloooo,.............just because I'm blond doesn't mean that I am automatically stupid. So, I told him just what his fast talking sales guy had told me last year, that in ONE YEAR these windows would pay for themselves! Helllooooo? It's been a year! I told him... There was only silence at the other end of the line, so I finally just hung up... He never called back. I bet he felt like an idiot.

Me... in her sunglasses!

The winter is coming, but I'm still dreaming of hot summer beaches!

Today's joke:

Mary's bedtime pray:
- God, please make somehow that London to be Denmark's Capital because that's what I wrote on my exam!

Rough Sea

A shot from Galveston, the day when the ocean was really rough...

Today's joke:

As a bagpiper, I was asked by a funeral director to play at a graveside service for a homeless man who had no family or friends. The funeral was to be held at a cemetery in the remote countryside and this man would be the first to be laid to rest there.
As I was not familiar with the backwoods area, I became lost and being a typical man, did not stop for directions. I finally arrived an hour late. I saw the backhoe and the crew who were eating lunch but the hearse was nowhere in sight.
I apologized to the workers for my tardiness and stepped to the side of the open grave where I saw the vault lid already in place.
I assured the workers I would not hold them up for long but this was the proper thing to do. The workers gathered around, still eating their lunch. I played out my heart and soul.
I played and I played like I'd never played before, from Going Home and The Lord is My Shepherd to Flowers of the Forest . As I played the workers began to weep. I closed the lengthy session with Amazing Grace and walked to my car.

As I was opening the door and taking off my coat, I overheard one of the workers saying to another...
"Sweet Jaysus, Mary 'n Joseph, I have never seen nothin' like that before and I've been puttin' in septic tanks for 22 years."

Houston, we got a pelican!

He was flying low, by the "Colonel", as well as many, many seagulls... the difference between him and his flying mates was that he didn't like to be captured in pictures, while for the seagulls the only thing that really mattered was the food!

Today's joke:

A tale is told about a small town that had historically been "dry," but then a local businessman decided to build a tavern. A group of Christians from a local church were concerned and planned an all-night prayer meeting to ask God to intervene.
It just so happened that shortly thereafter lightning struck the bar and it burned to the ground.
The owner of the bar sued the church, claiming that the prayers of the congregation were responsible, but the church hired a lawyer to argue in court that they were not responsible.
The presiding judge, after his initial review of the case, stated that "no matter how this case comes out, one thing is clear: The tavern owner believes in prayer and the Christians do not!"

Summer thoughts

Hope this image will warm you up a little bit...
If out there's cold and gray, I bring you the romanian beach (by the Black Sea), a shot taken on the beach from the city of North Eforie!

Hey, I got this joke for y'all!

The husband is a computer technician, while she is a housewife. Here's the dialogue:
Wife: Are you done with the shopping?
Husband: Bad command or filename.
W: But I begged you in the morning to...
H: Syntax Error. Abort?
W: Not even the promised brand new TV set?
H: Variable not found ...
W: OK, no problem, gimme the credit card, I'll do it myself...
H: Sharing Violation. Access denied!
W: Are you serious, kidding or you're just tryin' to upset me?
H: Too many parameters ...
W: I just wonder why I married you?
H: Data type mismatch.
W: When are you gonna get your paycheck?
H: File in use ... Try later.
W: I wonder what do I mean for you?
H: Unknown Virus.
