Autumn in Midwest III

Autumnal view from the City of Belton, Missouri (that's just south of Kansas City).

Today's joke:

Two women are chatting:
-Yesterday my doctor told me I'm pregnant...
-Cool! And who's the father?
-That what he couldn't tell me...

Natural Colors

I took this shot in my cousin's backyard while being in Michigan few days ago.

Today's joke:

Norman and his blonde wife life in Fargo. One winter morning while listening to the radio, they hear the announcer say:
"We are going to have 3 to 4 inches of snow today. You must park your car on the
even numbered side of the street, so the snowplow can get through".
Norman's wife goes out and moves her car. A week later, while they are eating breakfast, the radio announcer says:
"We are expecting 4 to 5 inches of snow today, you must park your car on the odd numbered side of the street, so the snow- plow can get through.".
So, Norman's wife goes out and moves her car.
The next week they are having breakfast again and the radio announcer says:
"We are expecting 10 -12 inches of snow today, you must park..." then the electricity goes out. Norman's wife says:
"Honey, I don't know what to do..."
Norman says:
"Why don't you just leave it in the garage this time?"

Autumnal Bouquet

Here's another electronic painting, using a different software than the one I used for the yesterday's upload.

Today's joke:

Call at 911 in the middle of the night:
"Hello, help! Send someone over quickly!" the old woman screamed into the phone. "Two naked bikers are climbing up toward my bedroom window!"
"This is the Fire Department, lady," the voice replied. "I'll have to transfer you to the Police Department."
"No, it's YOU I want!" she yelled. "They need a longer ladder!"

Summer colors

While waiting for the summer, I found this shot from the summer of 2006... :)

Today's joke:

One day, during lessons on proper grammar, the teacher asked for a show of hands from those who could use the word "beautiful" in the same sentence twice.
First, she called on little Suzie, who responded with:
- My father bought my mother a beautiful dress and she looked beautiful in it.
- Very good, Suzie, replied the teacher.
She then called on little Michael.
- My mommy planned a beautiful banquet and it turned out beautifully!
She said:
- Excellent, Michael!
Then the teacher reluctantly called on Tony.
- Last night at the dinner table, my sister told my father that she was pregnant, and he said "Beautiful, just f***ing beautiful!"

Colors

I guess there's no need to specify which part of the year I took this shot!

Today's joke:

One day, in line at the company cafeteria, Joe says to Mike, "My elbow hurts like crazy. I guess I better see a doctor."
"Listen, you don't have to spend that kind of money," Mike replies.
"There's a diagnostic computer down at Wal-Mart. Just give it a urine sample and the computer will tell you what's wrong and what to do about it.
It takes ten seconds and costs ten dollars... a lot cheaper than a doctor."
So Joe puts a urine sample in a small jar and takes it to Wal-Mart. He deposits ten dollars, and the computer lights up and asks for the urine sample. He pours the sample into the slot and waits.
Ten seconds later, the computer ejects a printout:
"You have tennis elbow. Soak your arm in warm water and avoid heavy activity. It will improve in two weeks.Thank you for shopping at Wal-Mart."
That evening while thinking how amazing this new technology was, Joe began wondering if the computer could be fooled.
He mixed some tap water, a stool sample from his dog, urine samples from his wife and daughter, and a sperm sample for good measure. Joe hurried back to Wal-Mart, eager to check the results.
He deposited ten dollars, poured in his concoction, and awaited the results.
The computer then prints the following:

1. Your tap water is too hard. Get a water softener. (Aisle 9)

2. Your dog has ringworm. Bathe him with anti-fungal shampoo. (Aisle 7)

3. Your daughter has a cocaine habit. Get her into rehab.

4. Your wife is pregnant, Twins. They aren't yours. Get a lawyer

5. If you don't stop playing with yourself, your tennis elbow will never get better!

Thank you for shopping at Wal-Mart

Canadian Sunrise

When I captured this colorful sunrise, I was driving (as you can see), and didn't want to waste any minute pulling over to shoot the sunrise, so here it is! The location is somewhere between Strathroy and London, on freeway 402.

Many thanks for your comments, ratings and favs on my both images from Felix!

No joke for today! Hey, I'm joking!

Before the surgery, the surgeon asks the patient:
-How old are you?
The patient says:
- I'll be 44 next month...
The surgeon, a little amused:
- I love your optimism!

Just a macro shot... I loved the way it was colored, so I grabbed my camera and here it is!
