A Cheap Circus

My protest against all the abusive laws anti-smokers!

And here's another joke:

Just wanted to send you this Warning and to be on the Lookout !
There's absolutely no cause for Alarm.
This is just to prepare you for the Event.

I thought you would want to know about this virus.
Even the most advanced programs from Norton or McAfee cannot take care of this one.
It appears to affect those who were born prior to 1960.
Symptoms:
1. Causes you to send the same e-mail twice.
2. Causes you to send a blank e-mail.
3. Causes you to send e-mail to the wrong person.
4. Causes you to send it back to the person who sent it to you.
5. Causes you to forget to attach the attachment.
6. Causes you to hit "SEND" before you've finished.
7. Causes you to hit "DELETE" instead of "SEND."
8. Causes you to hit "SEND" when you should "
DELETE."

IT IS CALLED THE "C-NILE VIRUS."

  4. Excellent photo. I am a non-smoker but do feel for those who have been "put out" in more ways than one. I heard a guy on a radio show say quite bitterly that after they try to ban talking on cell phones in cars the next step would probably be to ban smoking in your own car. Talk about control... Big brother anyone??
Anyhow... Your photo is to the point and very well done.

  5. ..no smoking in the car will be the law in Manitoba by the time Spring arrives, same with cell phones....next up,the Brown-Shirts will be knocking on your door and asking you to butt out if anyone under the age of 18 is present...THAT is when I will start greeting people at my door with a gun, which I will have to obtain from a criminal because honest citizens aren't allowed to own guns....welcome to Canada...land of the frozen-brained politicians....sorry for the rant....like the picture......Ray!

  6. Now do one about obese people, drunks oh lets not forget motor racing, downhill skying, speed boats, cars and their fumes, mouthwase with alcohol, mountain climbing etc. etc. etc.
We do put up with a right load of S@*t from people who don't care if we live or die, just money! which is the confusing thing about banning smoking.
I smoke but would give up tomorrow for many reasons, but I won't be bullied.

    Nice message.

5 stars work!

  15. i dont smoke but this is wonderful image eddie..*LOL* @ your joke..

  16. I quit almost five years ago, and there are times when I still think it was a bad idea! You can't smoke anywhere here any more. No public buildings, including bars. Not within 25 feet (50 feet in some places) of a door or a window. I, too, heard about third-hand smoke the other day, and I just about drove off the road! What a load of catsh*t! Many people who smoke die from something other than lung cancer. Many people die of lung cancer who don't smoke. This has gotten totally out of hand! Last time I checked, everybody dies. Big Brother, for sure!

  17. It´s a nonsense the way they fight against smokers, altough i would like people didn´t smoke.I work in a oncologycal hospital and I smoke,my husbund has a lung cancer and smoke yet(!!!!)my neighbour next door has a lung cancer and smoke too(!!!!)and i think there are no laws to stop it but us inside!!..

I think your photo is a good protest against the abusive laws, but is a great advice also!

You have made a great photo,Eddie, and a good job! Congrats.

  20. The debate rages on. But there is no debate here...this is a great shot.

  21. I quit smoking about 20 times a day....everytime I put one out. Don't worry about C-Nile, it's fairly harmless, just makes you look silly sometimes, I've had it for Decades.

  22. I smoke and hate the laws too, that can cause endless debates.I'm pretty c-nile too.

  25. Awesome picture!

  26. I can not identify with the issue but I do appreciate the result.being able to eat in a restaurant without the smell of smoke, unless it is a barbecue smoke house. I am very prone to not being able to stand cigarette smoke and certainly do not want the often result of cancer

  27. protest joined fullheartedly... third hand smoke??? What's that supposed to be?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Thought provoking indeed.Great picture and social comment. There is another side to smoking no one has mentioned. My Grandmother smoked up to 40 a day from the age of 14.She smoked a brand called Capstan Full Strength, each cigarette contained enough tar to paint a fence. What became of Gran?...she died at the age of 98.....cause.....old age!
If smoking is so bad why is it not banned???....because it's taxable.
My Grandmother smoked up to 40 a day from the age of 14.She smoked a brand called Capstan Full Strength, each cigare.....Damned C-Nile Virus.
