I took this shot about the same day when I captured that little green fella, and as you can see, Alley and Boots were sooo happy to meet my camera!!!

Here's another joke, well, it's not about cats but their enemies, the dogs!
Muldoon lived alone in the Irish countryside with only a pet dog for company. One day the dog died, and Muldoon went to the parish priest and asked:
- Father, my dog is dead. Could ya' be saying' a mass for the poor creature?
Father Patrick replied:
- I'm afraid not, we cannot have services for an animal in the church. But there are some Baptists down the lane, and there's no tellin' what they believe. Maybe they'll do something for the creature!
Muldoon said:
- I'll go right away Father. Do ya' think $5,000 is enough to donate to them for the service?
Father Patrick exclaimed:
- Sweet Mary, Mother of Jesus! Why didn't ya tell me the dog was Catholic?

ReplyDeleteGreat picture! love their expressions! I remember when I had a smaller camera a 110, I would toment my cat to the point that everytime I picked up the camera, it became a game of hide and seek with the end result of my getting another flash picture of the cat.
ReplyDeleteExcellent picture. This is the first time I've ever noticed cats' pupils looking almost round. Just like Muldoon, I am a dog person, so I probably just missed seeing cats eyes under this type of lighting before. Well done.

ReplyDeleteVery cute shot. The one in the basket looks about the way mine does when I point a camera at him. He is probably saying "darn, I,m going to be seeing big spots in front of my eyes again". They make cute pictures but they hate the digital cameras bright lights. They look like very healthy lovable, cute cats.

ReplyDeleteExcellent capture! I don't think I have ever seen my cats look at me that way. But then, I don't have eyes in the back of my head, so who knows? At any rate, cats surely do bring a lot of joy into one's life, even if they are continually getting into mischief. I'm sure you have just as many stories of your cats antics as I do of mine! And as for the 'story', I just had to about split a gut and also think, 'How TRUE!' You are the greatest!
